Angela Thompson is an education and community leader of 35 years experience. She has managed diverse and complex projects from inner city Sydney to remote areas of outback South Australia. She has extensive experience and high-level skills as a writer, researcher, developer and deliverer of training and development. As a community theatre manager her worked included company management with the multi-awarded Sidetrack Theatre Company and the development of the Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre in Liverpool. As an educational leader she has had many roles including Policy Advisor and National Reviewer Trainer with the National Childcare Accreditation Council, Teacher and Lecturer in Early Childhood Education and Principal of a remote school site. She has led several early education, school, health, family and community partnership programs, winning the South Australian State Government Innovation in Education, Community and Business Partnerships award for her work at Andamooka Primary School. In her role at Semann & Slattery, Angela is focused on our community education partnership program in association with BHP Billiton at their Olympic Dam site.
