MLQ is the acronym for the Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire. It is based on the transformational model of leadership (Bass & Aviolio, 1996). The MLQ measures leadership styles that can be grouped under three broad categories ranging from passive to transformative leadership behaviours (1) transformational leadership (2) transactional leadership (3) passive-avoidant leadership.
