This document sets out the terms and conditions when purchasing products and services from Semann & Slattery and when purchasing using our internet shopping facility.


SHIPPING AND DELIVERY POLICY

We deliver physical products e.g reports, DVDs Australia wide using Australia Post. We have a flat rate of AUD $9.95 for shipping products which includes postage and handling. Orders are dispatched within 2 business days. We estimate that you should receive your products between 3-7 business days depending on your location within Australia. Semann & Slattery ships physical products Australia wide, however at this time we do NOT accept international orders for physical products through our website, please contact us on +61 2 9557 1460 to enquire about overseas orders. For orders relating to events and conferences we take Australia wide and international orders.


PRICING POLICY

All of our prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST (Goods and services tax) as of October 1, 2009. Product prices are regularly updated when price changes are received from our suppliers.


CUSTOMER SERVICE POLICY

Semann & Slattery is committed to providing exceptional customer service and quality products. We endeavour to make sure that all products listed on our website are currently in stock and pricing is true and correct. Standard delivery timeframes are between 3-7 business days; in the event that an ordered item is not available or we are unable to fulfil your order we will notify you within 2 business days to arrange an agreeable alternative item, a backorder or a full refund.


REFUND POLICY

Please choose items carefully. We do not normally give refunds if you simply change your mind or make a wrong decision. You can choose between a refund, exchange or credit where goods are faulty, have been wrongly described, are different to the product purchased on the website or don’t perform as advertised. 
Events/seminars

Should you need to cancel your registration for any events or conferences held by Semann & Slattery, the following cancellation fees shall apply. This takes into account costs we incur as a result of your cancellation that we cannot or are unable to recover.
More than 4 weeks from the event date - 20% of the registration fee.
Less than four weeks but more than one week from the event date – 50% of the registration.
Less than one week from the event date – 100% of the registration.

You are welcome to send someone in your place, however it is your or their responsibility to advise in writing of any additional requirements e.g dietary needs.


PRIVACY POLICY

Semann & Slattery is dedicated to keeping your details private. Any information we collect in relation to you is kept strictly secured. We do not pass on, sell or swap any of your personal details with anyone. We use this information to identify your orders, provide you with our newsletter and to personalise your shopping experience with us. Semann & Slattery uses cookies to allow you to login to your account, maintain a shopping cart and to purchase items in your shopping cart. Cookies sent to your computer from Semann & Slattery only last while you’re browsing our website. We do not store persistent cookies on your computer. Cookies also allow us to give you a more personalised shopping experience by displaying products that interest you throughout our product pages, thus providing you with a more friendly, interesting and enjoyable shopping experience. When purchasing from Semann & Slattery your financial details are passed through a secure server using the latest 128- bit SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption technology.128-bit SSL encryption is the current industry standard.
