Leading and supporting continuous improvement

How to create and embed a change-ready culture in early childhood settings APST 6: Engage in professional learning Presented by Philip Butler

Description

A 'change ready' culture fosters resilience, effective communication, and continuous improvement. On the other hand, a culture without these attributes leads to resistance, poor communication, and a reluctance to move forward. It is important to note that change for the sake of change is not necessary, but we should strive to create a culture that embraces new ideas and possibilities in our professional practice. This webinar will provide an overview of the change process specific to the early childhood sector, strategies to build and support a 'change-ready culture', and processes to ensure that this culture is embedded in our practices.

Completing Leading and supporting continuous improvements may contribute one hour of PD that aligns with the NESA (NSW) approved criteria and addresses:

The Australian Professional Standards for Teachers: APST 6: Engage in professional learning

The National Quality Standard: QA 7: Governance and leadership
