Presented by Anthony Semann
When we document we are trying to analyse the learning that has taken place. And this starts with collecting sound observations that tell us something or provide us with a glimpse into children's learning and development. Data such as observations should be rich and insightful and should lend themselves to telling us a story that we can share and expand on. This webinar will assist you to analyse your observations so they can be used as useful tools in your documentation. We will explore what makes for useful observations, how can they be analysed and how can they be integrated into documentation.
Completing Help me analyse my observations so I can use them in documentation will contribute one hour of PD that aligns with the NESA (NSW) criteria for Elective PD and addresses:
The Australian Professional Standards for Teachers: APST 3: Plan for and implement effective teaching and learning
The Early Years Learning Framework Learning Outcomes: Outcome 4: Children are confident and involved learners
The National Quality Standard: QA 1: Educational program and practice
