Presented by Philip Butler
Description
This workshop will explore some driving forces for learning in the environment.
Setting the scene for effective learning means tuning into the needs of the children, families and educators. It is about understanding how each element in the environment impacts other elements. We must pay attention to and constantly adapt and shift with the changing needs to avoid becoming stuck. We become stuck with the same routines, the same documentation process, the same environments, the same behaviour issues, and the same stressful days.
Break the cycle, learn how to pay attention to the core elements required for effective learning, and release yourself from the daily stress of just trying to get through another day. What you do should bring you and those around you joy daily; if it doesn’t, something needs to change. Perhaps that change starts here?
