Documentation - there is no right way to take observations and noticings, plan for, or reflect on — explore the possibilities and diverse ways of sharing your program APST 3: Plan for and implement effective teaching and learning Presented by Philip Butler
Description
‘Can you show me an example, please?’ – this is one of the most frequently posed questions during PD around thinking, practice and the planning cycle and documentation. Our response is consistent – there is no right way to take observations and noticings, plan for, or reflect on.
This webinar is for educators who want to see how others tackle daily documentation requirements. The examples are not meant to be templates to take away and use, nor are they exhaustive of all possibilities. They offer an opportunity to discuss the various components of a documented process, what content you are trying to capture, the diverse ways you can share your programs, and the learning and reflections with a broader audience without losing the educational tone.
We will also reflect on the big question – ‘Realistically, how much documentation are we meant to capture and share?’
Completing 'Can you show me an example, please?' may contribute one-hour of PD that aligns with the NESA (NSW) approved criteria and addresses:
The Australian Professionals Standards for Teachers: APST 3: Plan for and implement effective teaching and learning
The National Quality Standard: QA 1: Educational program and practice
