Inclusion and the EYLF – trauma, cultural responsiveness and wellbeing?

Description

Dr. Red Ruby Scarlet and Anthony Semann lead you through a critical engagement with the EYLF V2.0 to highlight the all-important inclusion piece of your program. By bringing together the new Principles and Practices, they help you develop deep authentic inclusive practices that address the current experiences of children and childhood in educational programs. In our post-covid world, new kinds of inclusive ‘world making’ (Haraway, 1997) are necessary as the diversities and differences in children’s lives have changed. For children to become successful learners, we know that they need to feel good about themselves, so engaging with children’s learning, development and wellbeing collectively is a crucial new turn in the EYLF V2.0.
