SESSION 1:  Don’t drop your bundle: a survival guide for Admin Staff

An admin assistant’s role is tough. Not only do you need to keep parents happy, you can also find yourself juggling the needs of educators and management. This workshop is an opportunity for admin staff to get together and develop some strategies to keep on track in busy service environments. 

During the day you will have the opportunity to work with other admin staff sharing ideas and strategies as well as building your personal survival toolkit to keep you sane in busy times!

SESSION 2:  Dealing with debts, dramas and other admin dilemmas

As the first point of contact for families, admin staff are frequently in the firing line of parents who are not happy with things big and small. It can be tough to manage, particularly when there is conflict, unreasonable expectations and demands in play. Sometimes it’s us who needs to initiate difficult conversations with parents about unpaid accounts and let’s face it…that can be a tough thing to do!

This empowering session focuses on building the strategies to take the stuff that comes your way and deal with it confidently and effectively without second guessing your approach.
