There is a direct link between positivity and an individual's mood at work, the level of sick leave and their overall satisfaction at work. Furthermore, given that emotions are contagious, then it is true that one person can set the mood for the entire workplace. This workshop explores how each and every staff member can have a positive impact on the workplace, not only on themselves but also on others. We will explore how we can all use practical strategies, with a proven evidence base, to create a more productive and harmonious workplace.
Upon completion of this workshop, you will be able to:
- Identify behaviours which contribute to positivity in the workplace
- Discuss with colleagues the links between positivity and an individual's mood
- Consider your own way of being, answering question ' What is my impact on the workplace?' and, 'How do I move my behaviours to a more positive place?'
- Develop practical strategies to create more productive and harmonious workplace
