Portfolios…you either love them or hate them. One of the reasons many educators stopped utilising portfolios is because they felt they were doing 'double' the work. When used correctly, for the right reasons, portfolios can offer documentation possibilities. Portfolios can allow the children to be a part of the documentation processes. Easily accessed within the classrooms, they provide opportunities for families and the children to contribute to the information by recording their thoughts and reflections. They offer opportunities for children to revisit their thinking and work and build or extend upon it. This webinar will engage educators with portfolio documentation, discussing strategies to ensure they are meeting your needs and the families, as well as the regulatory requirements for documenting the ongoing development of the children and program.
