Writing a Learning Story

Learning stories are not meant to simply be another way to document children's learning such as anecdotal records, or running records, or even photo's. Learning stories offer the educator the opportunity to engage in a piece of writing which not only is informative, but also engaging to the reader. They are rich narratives which can utilise a number of mediums and formats to tell the story of the child's, or children's learning. This webinar takes the educator through the different stages of composing a learning story, as well as the different components which go together to make up the piece. We will also look at the way the learning stories can be shared, and utilised for ongoing learning opportunities.
