‘Too often the pacing is driven by the content’ (Shaw). Educators often report feeling like their day is moving at a pace which is so fast paced, so punctuated with routines, that they and the children in their classrooms miss opportunities to connect, enjoy being and swimming in the deep end of content. So why is this the case? In this webinar we will explore what slow pedagogy means, how we create a new tempo and how we can enjoy teaching and learning in a way which honours the pace of a new and more measured tempo.

Completing Slow Pedagogy will contribute 1 hour of NESA Registered PD addressing standard 6.2.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
