QIP: from inception to implementation


This webinar provides leaders and teams with an overview of the Quality Improvement Plan from inception to implementation. Repositioning the QIP process as an opportunity for teams to strengthen skills and knowledge — make reflective, collaborative conversations a part of the culture, and support teams in their endeavours for excellence is a necessary move. Some of the areas for discussion will include, what makes a good QIP initiative, how to get the team interested and involved in the process, developing accountability measures around the QIP cycle, and documentation and reporting of the QIP.

Completing QIP: From inception to implementation will contribute one hour of PD addressing the following Australian Professional Standards for Teachers and aligns with the NESA Elective PD.

NESA Elective PD:

  • Enhanced teaching practice to effect positive change and impact on student/child learning progress and achievements
  • Involved opportunities to give and receive feedback and/or undertake self-reflection and reflection on the teaching practices of others
