Not done yet: Working alongside children and the journeys of their thinking

Description

Why do we sometimes feel the need to rush onto the next thing? Or to cover as much as we can in our day? Or when children have 'done' or 'experienced' something, that it's finished? This webinar explores the importance of slowing down, sitting for longer with children's ideas or questions, and revisiting and re-knowing, allowing us to go deeper with our thinking, and to research and learn joyously together.

Completing Not done yet: Working alongside children and the journeys of their thinking may contribute one hour of PD that aligns with the NESA (NSW) criteria for Elective PD and addresses:

The Australian Professional Standards for Teachers: APST 5: Assess and provide feedback and report on children’s learning

The Early Years Learning Framework Learning Outcomes: Outcome 3: Children have a strong sense of wellbeing

The National Quality Standard: QA 3: Physical environment
