The Infant Series

Description

Infants are tourists in an unknown world — the world is fascinating for them. As the youngest members of our communities, including our early childhood communities, infants need educators who demonstrate a deep care for them — educators with an interest in their lived experiences and who will advocate for what is best for them. In this series of webinars, we will explore a range of relevant topics that will ultimately improve infants' lives and their experiences in an early education setting.

Completing The Infants Series will contribute three hours of PD addressing the following Australian Professional Standards for Teachers and aligns with the NESA criteria for Elective PD.

NESA Elective PD:

  • Enhanced teaching practice to effect positive change and impact on student/child learning progress and achievements
  • Involved opportunities to give and receive feedback and/or undertake self-reflection and reflection on the teaching practices of others
  • Research based and evidence based
