The Curriculum Series

Description

In this package of webinars, we will take a close look at the three key areas of the documentation and assessment processes expected and required of educators.  In the first webinar, we will look at the various strategies offered to us around observation processes – the taking and noting of observations of individual children and groups of children’s learning; and how we ensure that these observations lead to meaningful and reflective observations programming. In the second, we will focus on the learning and programming cycle plans: and how these should be the driving force for your daily expectations for the children’s learning. The third webinar will leave participants with a deeper understanding and connection to the reflective practice cycle and its value and place in our everyday pedagogy. There is no hard and fast rule as to how much we should document; it is time to take back ownership of the reflective practices as they are the key to your and your teams’ continuous growth, culture building, and pedagogical journey.
