Description
A new approach to planning an educational program: moving beyond boxes and headings
PRESENTED BY: ANTHONY SEMANN
Do you feel like it is time to review how the educational program is developed? Too often the approach is to set up headings (usually linked to development or outcomes of the framework) and then to populate these with activities. Time-limited, then educators record what occurred and then publish a piece of documentation associated with this. Inherently there is nothing wrong with this approach, but it lacks dynamism and the fluidity and responsiveness of the reality of teaching and learning. In this webinar, we explore new ways of planning learning and how you might rethink your planning as a team on this journey of revisiting the educational program.
Completing A new approach to planning an educational program: moving beyond boxes and headings will contribute one hour of PD addressing the following Australian Professional Standards for Teachers and aligns with the NESA criteria for Elective PD.
NESA Elective PD:
- Enhanced teaching practice to effect positive change and impact on student/child learning progress and achievements
- Linked to clear and relevant goals that are related to improving student/child outcomes
